Low Back Pain; Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
I am a hair-stylist, and I own my own hair salon. Being a business owner keeps you busy, and you just don’t have time to deal with health problems. Standing all day long to cut hair became very difficult. Then my wrists started to bother me because of all the repetitious motions I use when styling hair. In my kind of business, a health problem – especially a problem like carpal tunnel and lower back pain can cost you the business.
I tried vitamin supplements to improve my nutrition thinking that might help, and I had my doctor check me out. We tried wrist exercises, but he said if it didn’t get better, that I’d have to have surgery.a
My daughter was already a patient of Dr. Gondolfo’s so she said I should see him before I thought about surgery. Well, I was very skeptical of chiropractic, but I didn’t want to have surgery, and to me it seemed like one or the other. I opted for chiropractic.
Well, I’ve been seeing Dr. Gondolfo for about 9 months now. I have really improved. The only time my wrists bother me anymore is when I really get carried away and do too much work. My low back feels really good now. I have no problems standing all day. Chiropractic even helped with things I didn’t expect. I used to take sinus medication, but now I don’t have to. Plus, I had digestive problems which have diminished.
I am a lot better now, and am glad my daughter talked me into seeing Dr. Gondolfo! Chalk one up for chiropractic, zero for surgery!

Work Injury
I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude to you and your staff at Comprehensive Chiropractic. I could never thank all of you enough. Please feel free to use my letter in your “Success Stories” collection.
It has been almost two years since the day I walked into Comprehensive Chiropractic at the “end of my rope” and Cathy assured me that I had come to the right place. Despite my doubt at the time, I am now more than glad to report that her statement to me that day was entirely correct, in more ways than I could have imagined.
After living with my pain for months, and having one doctor after another telling me they could not find the cause of my pain, I began to feel like a “crazy lady”. Although I did not have any knowledge of chiropractic care, and was even skeptical at first, I was willing to try almost anything. In retrospect, I believe it was God who walked me through the door of Comprehensive Chiropractic.
During my first visit, I immediately noticed that there was a completely different atmosphere with the office of Comprehensive Chiropractic. All of Dr. Gondolfo’s associates were sincerely kind, caring and willing to help. After taking x-rays of my lower back, Dr. Gondolfo explained to me exactly what was causing my pain, and told me how we were going to fix it. As happy as I was to hear someone say they knew why I hurt and had an idea about how to make it go away, I was still skeptical.
In the beginning, Dr. Gondolfo adjusted my spine three sometimes four times a week. I had lost a lot of functionality because my body could not remember what it was supposed to do. Recovery was a slow process because I had ignored the problem too long, but Dr. Gondolfo’s patience and knowledge of chiropractic care allowed me to gain functionality, little by little.
When I arrived at Comprehensive Chiropractic, I was in severe pain that several doctors had no clue how to treat,
along with a myriad of other problems that had manifested themselves because of the misalignment of my spine.
Today, those have resolved and I have very little pain compared to the beginning of my treatment. Once
there was doubt in my mind - now, I’m a firm believer, chiropractic care truly works!
